Senator Thom Tillis, Republican of North Carolina, has shown some old-school Southern-pol phrase-turning chops. After Trump vowed that the U.S. would “take over the Gaza Strip,” Tillis told reporters: “There’s probably a couple of kinks in that Slinky.”
