That would have been the headline of what I set out to write today, which would have been a humdinger. It would have been consoling, would have gotten us squared away against the Why Why Why? of a conceivable Trump victory. The other day Trump supporter Kristi Noem, governor of South Dakota seemed to be signaling to me, at least, when, during a town-hall session in Oaks, PA, Trump got tired of questions and called for the song “Y-M-C-A.” Then, when the song came, he just sort of hunched his torso a couple of times, all but imperceptibly.
