"I like tranny on girl porn!" Mark Robinson, the Republican nominee for governor of North Carolina, overshared some time ago on a porn site called Nude Africa. "It takes the man out while leaving the man in!"          

            Robinson, I assume, is not talking about himself being taken out yet left in. Nor is he taking a compassionate interest in a person who has changed or is changing his/their sexual orientation because she/he is convinced that the one assigned them at birth is wrong.

            Tranny is mechanics' shorthand for transmission, as in a car. It shifts gears. But Robinson seems to be thinking more in terms of a modem. The folks Robinson has in mind, presumably, are people with penises who are otherwise perceivably feminine. Robinson finds himself able to watch people in that category perform sex with females without suspecting himself of wanting to receive sex from men.

             So he is talking about himself.

            Feh.
