Nobody Said Veritas Was Easy

When I try to weigh in on the regrettable Republican-forced but not uncalled-for resignation of the president of Harvard, my eyes glaze over. The passages Dr. Claudine Gay allegedly stole look so untempting. Who would want ‘em? Except for one readable bit: "who drove me harder than I sometimes wanted to be driven." It’s an acknowledgement of the pressure her family put on her to get her dissertation done.
