Alien Children
And Ice
I plough along online, not finding anything I don’t expect to find, and then this from the Wall Street Journal:
“When Trump’s border czar Tom Homan held a press conference on February 12 to announce a draw-down in federal enforcement in Minnesota, he reported that during their surge, ICE agents “located 3,364 missing unaccompanied alien children, children that the last acministration lost and weren’t even looking for.
“Speaking separately on Fox, Homan said nationwide, they have located 145,000 of the over 300,000 missing children from a 2024 Homeland Security report.
“It sounds like a success story. But try and find the network anchors and reporters focussing on missing children -- you won’t find it. It’s a zero.”
So I guess if the media were unbiased, this would have been all over the evening news:
“And there’s good news tonight! ICE has found 3,364 missing unaccompanied alien children! And that’s just a fraction of the 145,000 . . . Excuse me while I wipe away a tear. At at time when we long for good news to report . . .”
But . . .
